Interior Design Tips: Set the Mood Using Color Psychology

I studied psychology in college, but my true passion has always been art. After I earned my bachelor's degree, I decided to start an interior design business, and I soon realized that I could put my psychology knowledge to good use when helping my clients makeover their homes. Before we choose the color schemes for each room, I love teaching my clients about color psychology and how much the colors we choose to use in each room can affect their moods and the moods of their family members when they are inside of them. When I notice clients are tense, I suggest they stay away from reds in their room designs and integrate calming blues. I decided to create a blog to share many more of my design tips, and I hope you can put my tips to good use when decorating your home! Enjoy reading!

Tips For Making An Awesome Surfing Video

If you like to go surfing, there is a good chance that you will want to capture the experience for others who don't know how to surf and actually make a video of your exploits. However, salt water and technology often don't mix very well, with the former having the potential to cause permanent damage to the latter. Here are some tips for putting together a great, dynamic surfing video that will be able to show the world your experience.

1. Invest in a Waterproof, Portable Video Camera

The first thing that you will want to do is invest in a waterproof, portable video camera, such as a GoPro. The reason why you want this is because half of the experience for your viewer is going to be to see what surfing is like from your perspective. Experiment with putting the camera on various parts of your body, such as around your waist, across your chest, or on your forehead. Then, do your thing and take some footage. Once you do that, you can review the footage to decide where you want the final position of the camera to be.

2. Get a Drone

The next thing that you will need to get is a drone. Drones are relatively cheap these days and can take high-quality, professional footage that will allow you to see what you look like when you are surfing from above. This is going to be necessary to add perspective to the shots that you take on your portable video camera while you are surfing.

3. Get a Stationary Camera

Finally, get a stationary camera that is located on the beach surrounding the area where you are surfing. This will allow you to get a side view of you surfing.

4. Edit

Once you have all of the footage you need thanks to your friends operating the drone and the stationary camera, you can start editing the footage together. You want to have a mixture of shots for each wave that you surfed in order to give the viewer some context for what he or she is seeing, as well as provide some additional depth. Doing this will allow your viewer to get a full picture of what the experience of surfing is truly like.
